Adorable Cousin Cooper McClure

Some of these photos are from when we were in Hughes Springs for Thanksgiving and the others I downloaded off of Becky's camera. Cooper is so cute and has a pretty funny personality. He loves working in the yard and is all boy. The first thing he had Brodie do when we got to Hughes Springs was go outside to play football. He had to show his Uncle the "motion play" where the quarterback has to lift his foot to send the receiver in motion . . . this is from the son of the Texas High football coach.

Mead's Hunting Camp/Cabin - November 26, 2008

While in Texas Robert Mead invited us to spend the night at his new hunting camp. It is such a cute little cabin. Nancy watched Annabel for us that night. We grilled out and ate Smores. Lane had to leave really early the next morning to get to Austin for Thanksgiving Dinner. Brodie and Robert left when she did to go hunting. Jennifer got to sleep until 9:00 AM!!!

Annabel Meets Santa - December 13th

We took Annabel to Yorktown Mall to get her picture with Santa. We dressed her up in one of her two Christmas dresses and we let her open an early Christmas gift . . . a pair of shiny Red Shoes. You could tell she felt special in her fancy shoes. We stopped first at a friend's Christmas party in Naperville and then went to see Santa. We thought for sure she would cry. She just sat there and looked at him trying to figure out what was going on. Quickly we got her attention and somehow got her to smile and magically got what we thought was the cutest picture ever.

Thanksgiving 2008 Houston and Hughes Springs

We drove about 17 hours to Houston to see the Bean family. We visited with them for two days. It was great to see them. Their new house is awesome and I cannot wait to go back in the summer because they have a sweet pool! Annabel started off showing us some new tricks while at their house. She was pulling up on everything and trying to climb up the stairs.
After a few days in Houston we headed back up to Hughes Springs for the rest of the week. Walter jr. even drove in from Dallas to have lunch with us one day. The day after Thanksgiving we had the annual family photo session. Brodie's family had a blast with Annabel and taught her all sorts of new tricks. She perfected her clapping skills and they taught her to put her hands up in the air for "touchdown".
